It has absolutely nothing to do with me having an account or not.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, Netsafe seem like a good one to begin with.

I really don't think you either read or understand the OPs issue.

I did read it but you but you may be right. I’m assuming he has a FB account. If he closed his account would the issue persist or does it happen without an account?

Lol you are joking right?

Put up a sign that says "I'm not selling a mattress, you have been scammed" and then point at it when people arrive to pick it up.

Put a QR code up to this post for them to scan.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

I feel for you. That would absolutely suck. I wonder if no one has paid for anything what the scammer is doing with your address? What's the win for them?

Is your address something really generic, like 123 Main Street?

Nope. It seems like they just picked it out randomly and send people a Google Maps screenshot of the address. They don't actual type the letters into a message. Just a maps screenshot of the address.

If you were to google your town or city is your address what comes up by default? Just curious what could be causing people to target your address by default. I seem to remember the Nokia maps app dropping your default location as somewhere in the top of the South Island until it got proper GPS.

Maybe a gps obfuscation app that the scammers could use on Android phones.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

My only advice would be interrogate the people that come to your door, track down the fb account send them a message and report it. If no one is paying any money, then really what is the point of it all?

Also, perhaps try a call to 105?

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

Got one last night at 9.30pm and another just now. I guess a fresh batch of ads went out.

I made a Police complaint a few weeks ago and will investigate getting a sign made up now too.

Neighbours - no, we are a quiet family.
