Not sure you would want to exempt those as there is EPG data available for all of those except reserved on DVB-T.

Exempted due to lack of interest.  I never use them.

Thanks for this.

Have it working with MediaPortal on Win7 (Hauppauge T-500 & Asus U3100 DVB-T) in the Christchurch area.

Just saw a post over at http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-1-talk-45/calling-all-mp-new-zealanders-both-you-2321/index279.html asking if Series and Episode data is available?

Got it making an xml file for Auckland - Waiatarua DVB-T for the following:

AVerMedia A815 VolarX USB stick
Windows 7 x64

I had to give it permission to write the xml file to the folder though.
That's all I have done so far but great work!!!

Holy crap I can't believe how easy it was to get MHEG5 EPG working in WMC 7!
Imported the xml file into Big Screen EPG and all the EPG data was working in the guide!
I've never seen the programmes title screenshot display in the guide before this import as well, quite a cool feature.

Again, great work - I really appreciate it.

Series and episode data has been available for a few weeks now. EPG Collector gets it from the broadcast data but doesn't output to the file because I wasn't sure it could be used.

The data is in the form of TV Anytime reference numbers eg FlashForward has a series reference that is 'crid://tvnz.co.nz/1008270'. The episode reference has a similar format but increases by 1 each week. The repeats shown on Saturday night have the same episode reference as the preceeding Wednesday.

The XMLTV spec has a tag for this sort of data but can you make use of reference numbers in the 'crid' format? It's only a small change to output these references.

Does anyone know of a program (other than bigscreen) to load xmltv file into windows 7 MC ? Just a light weight command line utility ideally.

Steve, try this for MXF file info for Media Center.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd776338.aspx#mxf_elements_and_attributes__amui

I suspect that crid is currently not supported by mxf. We would then need some means of pulling information from a crid and dumping it into the relevant format, (xml then mxf).

I can happily report that this worked perfectly on Windows 7 with a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2200 (DVB-T), the file imported successfully into ForTheRecord without a problem. Excellent work to all involved, it's very much appreciated.

The MC MXF spec has 2 sets of season and series fields for a program.

The first set are integers but the second set are text strings so maybe they could take the references as they are.

The s/w you use to create MXF from XMLTV would need to transfer the data into the correct fields though. I'm not sure it would do this as the XMLTV spec suggests the references should be numbers, not strings, so if I was writing the conversion I'm sure I would have tried to put the XMLTV fields into the MXF integer fields not the text fields.

Steve, can you pull some more Flash Forward crids? specifically the numbers after the tvnz.co.nz ie.1008270

Or perhaps another show that is on more frequently than once a week.

Must be some thing useful in them somewhere.
