Hi guys,

I've just started offering cheap prototyping services for NZ inventors/DIYers at transcendent.co.nz

Services include but not limited to: PCB designs, mcu programming, 3D printing, sketching, CAD, Android..

I'm not intending to run this as a ruthless business but rather a cheap service to help fellow NZ innovators.

So if you want to launch a Kickstarter, have a cool invention or even if you just want to do some home DIY e.g. put a bluetooth lock on your man cave, get in touch via the site.

Still too expensive? Contact anyway and we can sort something out.

Tisk Tisk your nice try, but your defence instead of acknowledgment of your mistake is a little sad.

A Man Cave, sometimes a manland, mantuary [1] or manspace,[2] is a male sanctuary,[3] such as a specially equipped garage,[4] spare bedroom,[3] media room,[5] den,[6] or basement.[6][7] It is not a cave but rather a metaphor describing a room inside the house, such as the basement or garage or attic or office, or outside the house such as a wood shed or tool room, where "guys can do as they please" without fear of upsetting any female sensibility about house decor or design.[8] Paula Aymer of Tufts University calls it the "last bastion of masculinity".[8]

I think the work you were looking for was Hacker Space.

Just trying to help Transcendent from being sexist company and I did contribute something, alternative wording that wasn't sexist. But if you only want to deal with men then it's your loss, no need to be so defensive.

Sure there are lots of geek girls around, but still doesn't preclude the existence of man caves.

Transcendent: If you cannot contribute something of worth, please refrain from commenting.

Everyone here can give opinions and just because one disagrees is no reason for censoring. Providing there's no breach of FUG I would prefer not to see these types of requests (you can always make these in private).

I dont suppose you have had a look at how threads go the complete opposite way. Example i made a telecom thread about a modem turn into a Vodafone thread about our modem lol..

freitasm: And that is one of the reasons you are on a watch list. Being a telco employee doesn't mean immunity to bamhammer. It comes without warning and trolling has limits.

Back to topic,

Do you have a 3D printer? If so might need to use such services.

Yeah I do. I'm obviously not running a professional 3D printing business but shipping to NZ from places like Shapeways are killer so I thought I'd offer up mine for a small fee.
