My freebe hasnt arrived, and I want to port off 2degrees before another month of paymonthly rolls around which is in a few days I think.

Anyway, where can I pick one up in person?

If you call on 0800 4 SKINNY (0800 475 4669) then they can find out where your free SIM is at.
