Hi All,

new to the forum and the country. Geekzone sort of reminds me of :D anyway was wanting to make some furniture and have been on the look out for Hair Pin furniture legs see here it looks like something that is reasonably simple to make but I would prefer to just buy it but I don't really want to import something from half way around the world.

Any ideas? I have had a look at some imported made in china legs and they aren't very nice.

I doubt you'll find them pre-made in NZ, your best bet is to rock up to your local general engineering firm and offer it as a beer/cash job

Similar chairs are sold in many designer furniture stores. because they're "designer" they cost an arm and a leg though. (Assume rant about how BS "designer" is).

Parker Ferguson in Thorndon Quay in Wellington would probably be able to source some, guessing you're probably in Auckland though?
