So i have a Homelab, im trying to built my own server rack, (cause paying 500$ for a 12U rack isnt worth it). The problem im having is finding space rails to buy. Does anyone know of a place or location i should be looking to pick up some space rails. ebay they are like 18USD. Any tips would be great.

Rails normally come with the servers that mount on them?

Qualified in business, certified in fibre, stuck in copper, have to keep going  ^_^

I got a cheap mixer stand from jaycar to put a couple of rackable power amps in the bottom and my dj mixer in the top. Might be somethign to consider since it had heaps of U space you might be able to cut up and use some other way?

You can buy 2nd hand racks pretty cheap. That computer recycling place in gavin street used to have heaps.

Just check they have the middle screw hole in each rack position. Old ones don't and many things need that there to screw into their rails.
