Looking around for some two-way mirror in glass or acrylic (my preference), it is part of a project to build something like these devices - http://michaelteeuw.nl/post/111886383522/magic-mirrors-around-the-world

Just looking for some idea of cost and availability, approached a couple of suppliers but so far no luck getting this in NZ.

Places online like http://www.twowaymirrors.com/ maybe an option but I expect shipping would be risky in terms of getting it here in one piece.

saw one build using mirror tint film on plain glass. Might be worth a look.

Current plan is to use a Pi Zero, prototyping using an old 19" monitor that can be rotated into portrait mode, some borrowed/new JS code along with a server component in Java since some requests need to be proxied. Based on ideas from https://github.com/jangellx/MagicMirror and many others.

AliExpress... e.g. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/50x100cm-Window-Film-One-Way-Mirror-Silver-Insulation-Stickers-Solar-Reflective/32541655423.html

This looks promising and priced that it wouldn't be such a big deal if it didn't work.

Had a work colleague from the UK pick me up the magazine/Zero bundle when it came out.

Oops... gave you the wrong link... that example was for 50 off at $3.37 each = $US166 = NZ$250.

Try this instead: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/G075-A-1pcs-50cmx2m-Silver-Insulation-Window-Film-Stickers-Solar-Reflective-One-Way-Mirror/32322622876.html

If you have any offcuts, send them my way :) Thinking about doing an infinity mirror
