In another thread I talked about possibility of asbestos in the lino, and the house has 4 separate rooms in lino so quite a lot, and it has been confirmed as containing asbestos.

So now I am wondering about the ceilings. It seems a number of ceilings are hard wood (the areas that are lino), with either 1, 2, or 4 sheets with half round wood concealing the joins.

The master bedroom and lounge have a bit of decorative work, and I'm wondering if the may contain asbestos. They are starting to crack and crumble in places.

Just thought someone her might have some knowledge as I did not think to ask builder while he was here if he knew. Too much other stuff.

Not a builder or an expert, but in my own personal experience these things tend to contain asbestos, yes.

Get a piece and send it off for testing is really the only way to go.
