Hi all, in the process of renovating a 1940 ish home, having pulled the old jib off and wanting to sand the Rimu floors, the question we have is in what order. Do we sand then put the new jib up then paint, jib then sand then paint or jib paint then sand?

If you do the floor first maybe it could get marked doing jib and painting.

Gib first.

As mentioned you could damage the floor putting the Gib up. Easy to sand out any small dents.

Firstly... Gib not Jib (unless we're talking sailing or cranes?)

Now... Gib first. Any damage to it will be limited to the area covered by skirting.

The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
