I've acquired a Knoll Life chair for cheap (free, actually) but it's a bit tatty. The fabric mesh back section could do with new fabric. I rang Zenith, the local dealer, and they quoted me close to $300 for a replacement, which seems like overcapitalisation. Does anyone have experience repairing these? The back section comes off with a couple of 2.5mm allen key bolts, but I can't see without getting more invasive whether the 'trampoline' can be taken apart.
