You know that, and I know that but I saw the word WD40 in another post so I thought it should be clarified.

Yeah, but when someones say's CRC here is NZ it is commonly thought of as 5.56 or a WD40 equivalent.
About 2 years ago we also had the sticky button on our Bosch dishwasher. So I sprayed some CRC 556 into the gap around the button, pushed the button a few times and it has been working fine ever since.
Figured that since 556 could be used on engine ignitions etc it wouldn't do any harm to a dishwasher.
Uses from the CRC website include: "Electrical: Plugs, switches, coils, leads, etc."
