The switch outside an old address of mine flicked up by itself. Cause was water was getting into outer box. It had corroded letting water in.
A sparky put on a new outer box. Was all good after that. The switch can go up by itself.

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.
The meter box in our 1950's house only has the meter in it.
There is a ceramic block located on the barge board where the power lines attach to the house. Don't know if that is a fuse or just a disconnection point.

There will be a main switch somewhere, possibility on your distribution board? Our meterbox also only contains the meter and no switch..

Interesting constellations you have and you seem to like lots of separate boxes in front of and in the house (and accordingly lots of room for error). This is a typical, modular meter and main distribution installation with lightning & overvoltage protection and plenty room for extensions (i.e. for the eCar charger, PV and so on) at one place in the house. Note the thick, black cable coming directly from the street underground distribution. The only thing what must be provided for the (sealed) metering is the meter bay space you can see on the left side. This has 4 RCDs each with up to nine circuit breaker. If you have too old electrical artefacts from the past, they MUST be replaced by secure devices (otherwise you can‘t get/keep coverage for the mandatory house insurance).
Would it be for forbidden to do it that way in your country? Do you have to stick with the external meter boxes? I‘m just curious.
