Anyone got any experience with Sigenergy?

Ours was installed today, with panels going up tomorrow. Right now all I can see is household power consumption, plus since I had the Shelly EM50 installed I can see consumption from hot water cylinder and ducted heat pump.

Very initial impressions:

The Android app is ok. I think I will like it better as I get used to it.
There's a Home Assistant integration, but it's more of a configuration method. I will try this tomorrow once I have the installer enabled modbus on the Sig.
The inverter looks good, but the dual switches (DC in and AC out) and conduit around it are pretty ugly. Painting it might help a bit.

I mounted my inverter on the wall in a room on the other side of the distribution board. So I was able to hide all of the cabling on the DB side of the wall, so it all looks pretty tidy around the inverter. The wall was 150mm concrete block with solid grouting so a bit of pre planning and pfaffing around to get all the holes drilled before the install. But we're super stoked as it looks really tidy with just a small amount of power and signal cables showing directly under the inverter.

Ecotricity's peak morning period is 7-11am so good opportunity to export mid-late morning. Just disable your HWC/ EV solar diverters until after 11, if you have them.

hhmm currently on the Z energy ev plan because I can charge the PW at 3am for $0, once I have a bit more data I will have to compare to this.

Here's a few pics.

The SigEnergy 6kw inverter on the wall. It gets reasonably warm, 55c today when it was putting out around 6kw.

Switchboard with modules 1) Underfloor heating switch and timer 2) Siemens contactor 3) SigEnergy switchboard module 4) ShellyPro EM-50 controlling hot water and providing power usage for hot water and ducted heating.

You get a lovely big green stick on your meter board.

Solar panels look like solar panels. These are the 9 west facing, we have another 13 north facing that I can't really photograph but they look like solar panels on a roof. Total panels 9.2kw.

The electrician didn't use the ABB 40A switchboard switch which is a bypass to the Shelly, he supplied a Siemens switch because he said it makes it look better if they're all the same brand. So I have an ABB 40A switchboard switch plus a heavy duty Vemer digital timer that used to be in the switchboard sitting in my office until I work out what to do with them. I'll probably sell them when I get around to it.

Thank you , we are putting the inverter in an external garage so hopefully won’t look too bad , still need to run pipe down the side of the house and into a trench into the garage . Looks good today would of been a great Solar day

We were told the inverter should ideally be near the solar panels and switchboard, the side of the house beside the heat pump outdoor units up the driveway was the best option, even though it's a bit ugly. The far side of the house that no-one sees gets full sun so isn't good for inverters, and the garage is too far away. We'll paint the conduit and won't even notice it in a few weeks.
