I've subscribed. Watched some of the two matches on my laptop through a monitor and it looked good. I will try it on a projector later and through to my 40" Samsung tonight.

Will let you know how it goes.

Why are they not showing the opening match of the season. Liverpool vs Stoke Live?

aren't they?  biggest selling point was ALL 380 games live.  If they don't show the first one, that is a pretty bad sign.

The game is listed on the front page of their website though.  what makes you say they won't show it?

This note is on the EPL official Website;
This fixture was arranged to be played at Anfield on Sunday 18 August 2013 at 02:00. Due to live broadcasting on BT Sport. it has been moved to a new scheduled date Saturday 17 August 2013 at 23:45.

I suspect that the PLP will be updating their details too.

EDIT: finished my sentence!

Looking at the EPL site - there have been some mass changes to the scheduling!!! Man U changed, Hull City changed...

Jas777:I would think that they would be making PLP keep records of the source of the payments for subscriptions to check where CC is registered etc.

Was thinking something like this too. While it may be simple enough to get around the geo-blocking to access the site, wouldn't you still need an NZ billing address to be able to register?

Sky and BT in the UK have taken their live game picks up to November (I think) – so all those games that were originally scheduled have be changed.  Similarly, teams playing in European games (or is it just Europa?), will have their games changed to Sunday UK time that week, even if they are not on TV over there.

e.g. Swansea v Man Utd is live on Sky in the UK, and is on Saturday 17:30
Spurs v Swansea the week after, is not on TV in the UK, but moved to the Sunday, as Spurs (and probably Swansea), will be playing in the Europa League the  Thursday before.

PLP have not updated their schedule yet – I assume they know they need to change their schedule :)

Sorry if this has been covered already, but do we know which games will be On Demand and from what point they will be available?

My plan is to wake up on Sunday morning and be able to watch an overnight game or two Sunday morning. Is that how it will work?

Thanks!

You can watch all 380 games once, live or on demand. of these 250 are available on demand for multiple viewings. you can start watching them at anytime (1 second after kickoff if you'd like)

That sounds pretty much ideal. I'll be signing up then. Thanks!

I was wondering that too. Only 280 of the 350 games will be available on demand. I think PLP have said that the On Demand games will be all the 3am games plus as many of the midnight kick-offs as they can fit in.

Will we know ahead of time what the On Demand games will be? I'd hate to get up in the morning and go to watch the game and find it isn't one of the On Demand games!

From the FAQ:

"Do I have to watch all the matches live or can I record them and watch at my leisure?

We've confirmed with the league that every single match can be watched once at any time - live or on-demand. On top of this we're offering 250 matches available on-demand for multiple views whenever you want. We'll try to ensure for starters they are all the 3am kick-off matches, with the remainder being as many of the midnight games as we can squeeze in. "

I didn't realise that. Where did you get this information from?

In the FAQ (see post above yours) also heard it on the radio when Tim Martin was on radiosport.

Everyone seems focused on Saturday 3am.
Sunday (Monday here) matches are usually more important for me to have flexibility on (because of having to work, to pay the subs!)
