JarrodM: No that's not how it will work.
Select games from each round will be available on-demand till kickoff of the next matchweek. The number of these games will total 250 throughout the season.
The other 130 games throughout the season will be available to watch live or "as-live" for 24 hours after the match has been played.

Emm we're saying the same thing. My bet is that the first 250 games played will be made available on demand. Then in February or so when we get to game 251 they'll start culling the old boring 0-0 draws from early on in the season to make way for new content. Tis what I would do.

And where does this 24 hour for on demand viewing come from after a game. The site states quite clearly until the start of the next round which will typically be a week.

Dororke:

As to those only being able to watch a game once, PLP have stated they will not enforce this. But I gotta ask who out there watches a game more than once. Thinking back over the years with SKY and always recording the live games I can't ever recall an instance where I re-watched a game. So who does?

I guess I could make a case for different members of the household watching at different times or the likes of my fanatical son who'd re-watch matches 'til the cows come home.  However, I won't do that as my main concern, probably expressed elsewhere, is that only allowing one viewing then means they have to know that you have viewed it somehow and if your viewing is interrupted for whatever reason then do they think you've finished viewing and don't allow you back onto the stream?  Multiple viewings within a timescale doesn't have any of those issues.

Yes good point. Come to think of it my son has watched repeats of a game I watched live several times. But would watching live and then once as a repeat count as 2 viewings? Semantic I guess as its not being enforced.

No you've just said there that they'll have all games on-demand then when they hit 250 they'll take some off. I'm saying that as it stands there will be out of the 380 games 250 of them throughout the season will be available on-demand until kickoff of the next gameweek. And the other 130 games will be available to watch once(whether they enforce the one time viewing is another matter) within 24 hours of that game being played.

I guess it comes from such posts as this by support staff.  The site also clearly states that the matches can only be viewed once which has been contradicted on numerous occasions now.

I can't seem to get links to work!  The one I tried to link to is here:

OK - well if it were me and I had the capacity to show a maximum of 250 games on demand, I would retain all of them for on demand viewing until such a time as the limit was reached. Then I'd start getting rid of the 10 older most boring games to make way for the new stock from the upcoming round. Then wash, rinse and repeat for each remaining round.

I guess we'll see soon enough. PLP have already stated that all games from the first 2 rounds will be retained for on-demand viewing. I reckon they'll extend this until they're forced to make room for new stuff. And haven't they also said they're trying to get additional space to retain all 380?

All of this is quite a small issue in my view as I rarely have the time or inclination to re-watch games from beyond the current round. On Sky I used to regularly record every live and delayed coverage games. I'd always watch my team live and then would pick the best of the bunch to watch during the week. Then after a couple of rounds, Id clear them all ahead of the next round to make room for the next 10 games. PLP are offering to keep the best of the bunch for the entire season; so this has to be a + for me at least. However it's a very small + as I don't think I'd ever go back and watch old games; but it's nice to know it's there if I wanted to I guess.
