Hey all,

I have been reading all the comments in this forum plus the sticky one on NZ Credit cards being a bit of a pain for Hulu.

All I can say is I have had no problems paying for a Huluplus account using my BNZ Visa Debit Card.

I just used 90210 as my zip code during the payment process and it has worked flawless for me for the last two months.

I never used PayPal or YouShop...

Anyone else enjoying Huluplus atm.

:)

Was using Huluplus just fine with my Westpac card, but not having any employment at the moment, I stopped it.
The only thing was that all the ads annoyed me

freitasm: Yes, Hulu Plus is about to have a no ad options. Really the "Plus" is just access to archived content at the moment.

Nice, well when I get some work, I will go back. I quite liked being able to watch old stuff like Mr Ed, The Cosby Show etc. (I can still watch some for free but I have to run it off the computer, whereas with Huluplus, I could run it from the PS3, Blu-Ray without having to get up all the time)  I just wish - The Straits was back for a second season.

To the OP: you're betting off choosing a state that doesn't have sales tax, like Oregon.

I thought Hulu Plus also allowed for 720p streaming, where as the free option was just SD?

Like many here I used my onesmart card and have had zero problems (apart from forgetting to top it up).

I was surprised that a paid service had ads. My NZ card did not work. Seriously took me 3 weeks to get sorted with a card that would work with Hulu+, then find out there are ads? And wasn't that impressed with the content. Tried it free for a month, then stopped.

Love Netflix though. I'm always discovering something new to watch.

I actually think the movie selection in Netflix is not that great - if I want something fresh then it's either iTunes or Amazon Instant Video...

Agreed. We find the NetFlix movie selection pretty lacking. But its beyond awesome for TV shows. Especially if your VPN of choice allows you to switch easily between the US and UK versions.

Hulu doesn't charge sales tax, so no you aren't.
