Was thinking of picking up one of these cheap from JB Hifi.

Does any one own that confirm if I can change the smart tv country to the UK and install BBC iPlayer?

Thanks for your help.

I own the 50 inch F6300, and yes you can change the country region to get UK streaming TV. It is great!

This is how it's done:

http://www.eyeondemand.com/2013/06/21/how-to-changing-your-samsung-f-series-tvblu-ray-country-app-store/

If you can't get it to change to another country, then try resetting the smart hub first:

1. When on the TV source, press the 'Menu' button
2. Go down to 'Smart features' and press enter
3. Go down to 'Reset Smart Hub' and press enter
4. Enter the default manufacturing pin: 0000

Once your smart hub is reset it will check for updates, you may need to wait while it does this, please do not turn the TV off or exit the Smart hub while this is happening.
Once the Smart hub has updated, you should be able to use the procedure in the above link to change the country to UK

Enjoy.

Using Unotelly, just set the dynamo Samsung setting to UK. Works well, although my ISP ain't the fastest (Vodafone InHome Cable (formerly Telstraclear InHome cable)), but at least it is low cost internet!
