I just tried and it worked 100% fine and I can watch it now..
I got the HD version and it only gives me an option to play in 480p! Time for a Refund as 480p is not HD

Would be cool to see if they do any movies in 4k since they already have the capability.

Also hd streaming is not available on PC which is disappointing, probably due to licensing issues.

You can view your HD rental or purchase using:

Supported Android devices via the Play Movies and TV app
Chromecast
Xbox
Google TV via the Play Movies and TV app

So not possible to watch HD paid movies from a computer :-(

See my post above. you cannot play HD movies on a computer.. when I played the one I had (and got a refund for) I was playing on a Mac with Safari and it only showed me the SD version of it.

Nope.. I have a refund now so I can't test on anything else now ... I have a Xbox (360) and Xbox (One)  (and other devices) so should have tested on them before I got the refund.
