Thanks for the info Marlinz, am having a network cable set up from my home/office which is where the router is to the lounge which is where the TV and audio gear is set up. I did not want to try and use this with a wireless connection. Am having Cat 6 cable installed, luckily live in a house with a timber floor, so installation should be a breeze.

I did the same , ran some cat 6 cable from my modem router under the carpet along the wall and to a network switch , so i can have my FireTV , WDTV Live , Samsung TV , Magic TV , and Samsung Audio Dock hard wired

My firetv sticks have shipped, so are on their way to youshop. Will be interesting to see how they compare to the fire tv box when they get here.

Good idea Marlinz with the network switch, I can connect up my Magic TV, Panasonic TV and Panasonic Blu-ray player as well. What do you think of this switch Netgear

I have two 5 port TP Link switches and they are excellent. I also uses RJ45 500Mb/s Powerplugs, as I am not such a great fan of wireless signals.
