My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

hairy1: Crossy road!

Absolutely Crossy Road!

Obviously my question implied "apart from Crossy Road, what else is worth doing?"!! :)

Do you have to do a Unotelly setting to get Prime working?

Not sure if you mean BBC iPlayer, but not sure about settings - Personally, I set the DNS thingies on the FireTV to the nearest Unotelly Dynamo servers, downloaded iPlayer from the US and it works fine. Don't think I did anything else. There is a setting in Unotelly Dynamo to do with BBC streaming, saying to select if you have any trouble with it, just not sure if I used it or not.

Assume you meant 'UK' not 'US' for installing BBC iPlayer?

A few pages back (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=151&topicid=143092&page_no=57#1358586) I provided some info on downloading iPlayer, which requires one's Amazon devices to be set to a UK address to allow visibility/downloading of iPlayer.

It's totally worth downloading iPlayer, especially if you want some decent content for kids with real people, not just cartoons. There also heaps of other apps you can try, given many are free. But I reckon you'll have a worthwhile device even if you're only using Kodi, Netflix and iPlaye on it.

- Well not for me, couldn't get it to install from the UK (in fact, nothing would install from the UK). My country settings were for UK as I got the Fire TV from the UK, so it seemed quite logical to me, but couldn't install anything from the UK till I changed my country to US.

Think that's what happened anyway, changed so many countries and default addresses not sure where I ended up.....

I sideloaded my smartdns service's android app to the firetv, so I can change regions easily.
Youtube is great too, voice search would be better.
Put Kodi on so can stream ITV, and also the native STV (Scottish TV) so can stream the RWC.
Plus games for the kids like Minecraft, Joe Danger, Bomb Squad, Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion, and yes Crossy Road too.
