BigMal: That looks awesome - nice find!  I just ordered one to try out.  Thanks for posting!

Glad to help. The channel selection for the entertainment package is fantastic.  I got mine posted to my sisters in the UK and she mailed to me. Did you manage to get it mailed direct to NZ or did you use a shipping address?

I used YouShop.  It seemed to accept the youshop address and my kiwibank cc just fine.  Fingers crossed :-)

ha, I just realised you don't need the actual box, it'll work with my Roku 3.   I'll test it out tonight and confirm the performance.

That would be great. Is it much of an issue resetting the Roku from US to UK. If you already have an account do you need to set up another e.g, have a US Roku account will I need a UK roku account?

I tested the Sky Entertainment package just using the browser on my laptop.  It streams fine without buffering or anything but I only get SD quality.

Doing a speedtest I get 5-6Mb per second to various UK servers.

I have one of the boxes, used it for a couple of months but I had so many streaming problems the SKY content that I gave up. I was using Unotelly and Telecom VDSL. Works great for iPlayer and 4OD. Got Plex loaded (from a zip file using developer mode) that works ok. For the price, I can't complain :)

Hi, I got the box shipped to my sisters and she send it to me. I think $15. If you have an xbox 360 you can get the app.

Forgot to say, the box arrived ($22 via youshop) and it worked ok although I can't get HD streams out of Sky, just SD.  It also has apps built in for the other UK networks and BBC iPlayer works beautifully in HD without a hitch.

I player is great, shame the sky TV is not HD which says to me it's an issue with sky. Did you get the entertainment package?

Yeah I just got the entertainment package as it was the cheapest.  I'll still hold onto the box as it was cheap and maybe in the future the quality will get better.

Of note, had issues with the ITV app on the now box, never worked. Switched from DNS to VPN via DD-WRT router, very impressive result. No buffering and ITV app works great.
