If you can that would be great. Can you try forcing to 3850 or 4300 (ctrl+shift+alt+s together on a PC) and see what your performance is lik

Just waiting for everyone to disappear off to bed, but will post the result :-)

Don't have 3850/4300 listed anymore and the box looks different than it did last night. Highest option I have is 3000. I've tried Chrome/FF/IE but can't get the older menu to come up. Smooth as silk at 3000 though.

I've never been able to get more than 3000 on Chrome but the old box works on IE for me still. For whatever reason, performance tonight is much improved and I am doing 4300 easily.

In Auckland from Central for work and using VF 4G hotspot from my phone. Connected, downloaded and played US Netflix on my iPad better than with my broadband at home! DNS setup with Unblock US. This just seems bizarre to me now.

4G probably is a lot better than your broadband at home (unless you are on a good UFB plan).

And you have an account in good standing with Netflix, credit card not expired, etc?

https://help.netflix.com/en/node/167 says the error is related to Silverlight, not internet issues

I'm still in the same situation as Pearlyred

VF adsl, doesn't work with US netflix on pc or appletv, using both unotelly and unblock-us

If I hotspot from my Vodafone mobile then both the appleTV and PC work fine with US netflix on both dns services

I really don't want to leave VF as I get the $55 naked plan and have a discount loaded from an issue a year or two a go that gives me an extra $20 a month of my plan.

Is anybody at Vodafone aware of why the fix only worked for most VF customers but not all? Getflix is reporting that they still have a number of vf adsl customers with the issue too

maybe time to switch to bigpipe for a month and try and win a PS4 :)

nope, appleTV shouldn't be affected by a silverlight issue, plus it works fine simply by changing the wifi connection from vf-adsl to vf mobile

After a huge amount of effort I managed to get the Netflix app up and running on my Sony BDP-S480 blu-ray player last night. The Sony Netflix app still won't play most content on the TV (46KDL-EX720) but the blu-ray seemed to have no trouble with anything at all, which pleased me no end - must be something to do with memory and/or processing power.

Tonight - Netflix (US) is loading on my main PC but is exceptionally slow. So is Hulu. We're talking minutes to load. However, once it's there Netflix plays with no buffering. Quality starts off very low but improves markedly over a few minutes. Haven't got time right now to test the blu-ray player but will do later this evening.

Vodafone VDSL / UnoTelly / Wellington

EDIT: Streaming via blu-ray working perfectly.

Not entirely correct. This is the error code everyone was getting here and related to the proxy configurations, not Sllverlight.

Just to follow up on what Mauricio said. If the N8210 was merely an insignificant error to do with Silverlight and nothing to do with things at the ISP level, the various DNS providers and cooperating users and the ISPs themselves wouldn't have gone to the effort of testing and ultimately making things work for most people. FWIW, Netflix is still working for me on Vodafone VDSL.

jsdad: Just installed amazon fire tv 10 days ago. Everything was working fine until last week issue. Change Netflix setting to UK.
Work fine.

Then Netflix stopping today. deactivate and try to activate. Err msg  ui-502

we are on telecom
amazon fire tv
unotelly  - point to Netflix UK

1)Tried turn off router/modem, device.
2)Uninstall / reinstall Netflix

Netflix on Window 8 works fine.

Does anyone have similar problem?

I think I know why is wrong with my Netflix @ amazon fire tv

Default version is 1.0.1, does not work for us.

Sideloaded Netflix 3.3.3 and later 3.4.2 work but only for single profile and will not let us search. These version is for touch screen.

Can someone using Amazon Fire TV with working Netflix please let me know which version of Netflix you are using?

Thanks!
