We moved Netflix and Hulu to a different server on Saturday due to some network issues at our main us provider once we moved them back the IPS got shuffled a bit you will need to reload the hosts file to fully restore the service.

OK, thanks.  Will try this eveing.  

Going forward, do you think you could set up some sort of email to users any time the hosts file needs to be reloaded?

We are halfway through developing a notification centre that will have a subscribe function, any outages or changes will be posted there (it should be completed In the next week or so) if subscribed to the notification centre you will get an email if anything is changed.

I'll post an announcement here once its live!

Can't seem to connect to Netflix this evening :-( 

Anyone else?Tried vi Chrome on my Macbook, Chrome on my Android device and also my Apple TV, and of course via dns4me.

Are you using the hosts file?

If so you will need to reload it, if not can you goto http://dns4me.net/check and let me know if any of the tests fail.

No I'm not using the hostfile. Running the test now, but it's taking a while, will post when complete. 

Have really been enjoying your service btw, all signed up!

No problem, glad its all backup and working :)

The check can take a bit as it scans all the DNS servers and proxy servers to make sure everything is functioning.

PayPal digital goods doesent support 2factor SMS if you jump into your PayPal account and disable this it will work (you can re enable it again after)

I ended up just doing a 12 month single payment using the guest option in PayPal

Hi Guys

We have added the notification centre for users of the hosts file, you can access it via Support > Notifications on the dns4me website.
We have also just added 7 new Netflix regions (Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Norway and Luxembourg) enjoy.

Hi,
I have signed-up for the 14 day trial, but cannot get my Amazon Fire TV showing any videos. I've followed the guide @ https://dns4me.net/guides/set-top/fire-tv and are seeing entries in the DNS log from the device. https://dns4me.net/check gives passes too. But when I load any videos on the Fire TV - prime TV or movie trailers, etc. - Fire TV always times-out and gives a player error with error code 'UNKNOWN_ERROR". If I remove dns4me's DNS servers from the Fire TV setttings, then it works fine.
Any advise?
