Hi
I am on Slingshot with Global Mode enabled I can't get Hulu plus to come up.  Can someone help me?

I have checked the DNS's in the Modem/Router and they are set correctly to Slingshot's recommendation.  The WD is also set to the same primary DNS but when I check location it always recognized me as being in New Zealand.

Is there anything I can do to get Hulu plus on the WD.  I contacted Slingshot helpdesk via email and they replied that they do not support the WD TV Live.

Any experts out there that have got the WD working on straight Global Mode without the use of a VPN or similar?  I thought this was the whole point of Global mode!

I hope someone can help me

Patrick

G'Day Patrick.

I've found a related KB in regards to NetFlix, CinemaNow, and Hulu Plus support on WD TV Live products: http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5305

I regret to inform you that Hulu Plus support might not be available for ANZ but in US only.

For further clarification, feel free to contact WD support via WD website at: http://support.wdc.com/contact

Cheers mate!

Thanks Tommywd
I have actually seen the link you have sent before after scanning the web.  I thought Global Mode with the right DNS's would "suggest" I am a local US resident for Hulu plus to miraculously turn up.  I can access Hulu plus via my laptop and I can sign up to the one month free trial then run that to my TV but I would prefer to run it directly via my WD TV live.  It seems the WD is not so flexible.

Has anyone out there got this running in a standard Global Mode configuration?
