freakalad: I may have to hit my bank up to see if they're able to provide a card completely decoupled from my other accounts - just assume that card'll get compromised eventually.

Have you considered a OneSmart card?

I use a virtual card on my OneSmart account and access this via a US Paypal account.  Netflix see the Paypal account with my US Freight Forwarder as the street address and PayPal see the virtual OneSmart card.

I'm not sure if I really need the two steps but it works so I won't be changing it.

Hey graemeh,
I tried setting up a US paypal and it wouldnt let me get any further without giving them a social security number, how did you deal with that bit? Also tried a Onesmart directly and Netflix wasnt having a bar of it....

I don't recall being asked for a social security number (SSN). It is possible they have changed the rules but for a basic Paypal they should not be asking for SSN.

Yeah, I was attempting to add credit to the Paypal, but looks like that isn't needed, just attached my Onesmart card to the US paypal and boom finished signing up to Netflix... now to get the PS3 app...

Good to hear it.  You'll find that Paypal keep pushing you to sign up for credit.
