Yea that's the sad thing about smart TV, rubbish software updates, samsung top end models ileviate this with smart evolution boxes but it's not the best solution. It's why soo many people just buy a panel and a set top box these days, I know I'll be doing that when android TV stb's come out.

Hi there. I watch Premier League Pass using app on my iPad which I flick over to my TV via an Apple TV box using Airplay. It works great and make PLP worth it for me.

I thought an Android HMDI stick would be just the biscuit for my 70 yr old pops to watch his beloved golf.
Got him to purchase a Smartdroid CX-919 and installed the two Android apps.
The videos play for about 5-10 seconds (or not at all).
The Toshiba Satellite laptop works but loses Wifi connection. When the Wifi is troubleshooted back the video doesn't restart automatically.
Have to re-load the web page and try to find where in the video he was up to.
This is not helped by a 'connection error' message covering up the bottom right of the video panel where the current timestamp used to be.

Very much feels like a 'work in progress', I hope it gets better.
