It feels like the nails are going into the coffin now for Sky. I've been wanting to drop Sky for a long time, but I like to time shift and skip ads and be able to record programs to watch offline, including when my Internet is unreliable like my Orcon set up has been over the last 2 days.

Finally we have fibre in our street, although I am waiting for the deals which will need to include running the cable down my long driveway and a modem that still offers me wireless access to devices such as printers and IP cameras.

Is anyone doing a piece of work to help people like me understand what options I have available using various set top boxes, or a PC as a controller? Sky as a device has been very handy. I'm not a gamer so don't have a game machine with a hard drive.

I guess while it's updating, should point out that Fanpass has been rebranded as "Sky Sports Now"

Should probably also add the new entrants as well...

AppleTV+ (https://tv.apple.com/nz/ ?)
Disney+ (https://preview.disneyplus.com/nz/ right now, but will launch in a few days...)
Sky Sports Now (SKY Sport 1-9, SKY Sport News, ESPN, ESPN2) https://www.skysportnow.co.nz/

Who knows? Stuff must've killed it already. It was active last month when I checked the list.

Is it worth putting Apple TV+ on there?

Added Apple TV+, thanks for the reminder.

Removed Stuff Pix. It didn't take long for Stuff to kill the service it seems.
