I am looking for a proxy (preferred) or VPN that can give me access to SBS. I would prefer something free if possible because I can already stream everything else I want from the USA, Britain and Australia (except SBS) and I would rather not have to pay extra only for that, though I am willing to consider it if that really is the only option.

Whenever I try to play anything on SBS, I get a message that the content is not currently available. Does anyone have a solution for this, or can anyone recommend a proxy guaranteed to work with SBS? Most of the ones I have found are focussed on the USA or Britain. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I can view SBS on Demand using a Sydney VPN proxy (IPVanish) - 1490k (standard definition) via VF cable 100/10.
Image quality is just OK, no stuttering.

Depending on how geeky you are perhaps a LES node in Australia may work.

Thanks for the suggestion. Geekwise I am somewhere in-between. I used to be pretty adept in the good old DOS days but I have fallen way behind as I have aged. I think I could work this out, though. I will keep it in mind and see what else pops up.

Good to know but I am still hoping for something close to free. I only need it for SBS so would rather not have to pay just for that.
