With the likes of videoezy and ezyflix now gone the main options for pay per view streaming are as I see it

Apple iTunes through Apple TV box or iPad etc (tablet)

Amazon prime via pc or tablet

Google play via tablet, pc or chromecast

Quickflicks via Samsung TV app or tablet

What else is out there to get latest movie releases?

Will there be a Samsung app for say google play ?

Also can you plug the chromecast direct to the amp to get surround sound ?

I have a wd TV live and wd media hub both of which are lacking in the app department and I feel I need a new box to rule them all.

I tried renting mad max off iTunes to my iPad, it took forever to download as the iPad didn't have enough storage space (needed 4gb) then hooking the iPad up to the amp it wouldn't pass the video out through the hdmi adapter...grrr

Yep seen that link before.

what i really need to know is i guess how are people now getting PPV streamed movies ?

is the consensus leaning towards amazon or Itunes over google play ?

are the apps for these providers going to make it to a platforms such as WDTV or Samsung TV apps.

i have yet to find an alternative to Videozy whereby the movie is streamed then and there, all i have had so far has had to be downloaded and stored and is limited to a device to watch on.
