It seems life time subscriptions are becoming more  the norm these days.Got this below in may feedly stream today. Makes you wonder how long "life time" is and how long these companies will be around.
You also have to think, going forward with the way streaming services are rapidly changing, how much long you will need a dns or vpn service.
I can remember not so long ago that I used a vpn service a lot to watch programmes that I couldn't watch here, but with music and tv/movie streaming  services available for a reasonable fee I find I hardly use my vpn for downloading anymore.

Thats a new one. Im sure it will only be free during beta and then will go to a paying model like all the other free services. An addon I have been using in firefox ,proxmate, is rolling over to paid service, which is perfectly understandable. As they say no such thing as a free lunch.
Im using a service called private tunnel which is different in that you pay for data not a monthly sub. As I use it for the handshake with overseas netflix only I hardly use any data. In 7 months I have only use 14gbs of my 100gbs which cost me $12.99.
