I am with a small ISP, owned by a friend of mine. I changed to him, from slingshot (where Netflix was always fine for me), around the time the crackdown began, so I wasn't sure if the difficulties I was having were related to that or not. I use the NZ catalog, no VPN, DNS or anything. The connection is 100/20 fibre.

Every time I open Netflix on my tv (Samsung f6400) it takes several attempts. It hangs on the opening/loading screens. When it finally opens (sometimes after two attempts, sometimes after a dozen and a restart of the TV) it's fine.

Is this normal? The ISP is small, focused on business mainly, and doesn't have many customers who are Netflix users. Should I go back to a larger ISP?
