butlerboy: Anybody else have Kodi update and loose all their settings?

Yes, just happened to me.

Is there a shortcut to sorting this out, from memory it took a while to set up originally ?

From memory...
1, Select tv
2, when it says you need a pvr select ok
3, it come up with a blank page with a blank line, select the blank line
4, PVR clients should appear

Sorry it's a bit vague but I was playing around with it and somehow managed to find the PVR add-ons. Pretty sure it went something like this. 😂 If I can work it out anybody should be able too.

Just looked at most of my kodi installations - haven't used any of then for wee a while. A couple had automatically upgraded, a couple hadn't. I found that in the upgraded devices all of my IPTV settings were gone but once I added the simple IPTV client everything was still actually there and worked nicely without me having to do anything further. I upgraded the ones that needed manual intervention, added the client, and all is good in the world :-)

Adding the IPTV client is easy. Click "Add-ons" then go back. On the screen you should now have the shouldbe a row of tiles under the heading "Categories" - select "Install from repository", scroll down to "PVR IPTV Simple client", select it and install. If your settings don't automatically reinstate you'll have to configure it all over again.

Since the update none of my channels are working. 😢

Using Smart STB app on LG. Doesn't work on any of the app equivalents.

Shame, really enjoyed the stuff you provided.

Are you using a vpn or dns service?

if not can you try using kiwitv3.m3u instead of kiwitv2.m3u
