Plex has updated the Xbox One app.

 

New layout etc....

 

Lets just say Im about to plug in my PC to watch stuff because the new app is horrible. I cant even find half my videos in it.

They reckon it's supposed to speed up navigation, cut down on the effort of using the controller to move between menus and find things.  I have updated but haven't launched it yet as I use Plex on my LG now.  But keen to take a look and see what's new as I imagine if it goes well they'll roll out the changes to other platforms.

It is faster, but locating the browse option isn't exactly easy for someone who dosent know Plex (ie my folks). Apparently I shouldve been given a "first run" tutorial when it installed, but I wasn't. Just thrown in the deep end.

Couldn't you use the app on your phone / tablet to start a stream on your Xbox to get around it?
