With some recent seasons I have watched on Netflix, after I have finished the season it will remain on the continue watching section.

 

I have tried the normal method of clearing viewing history, for these series I have had to clear the entire show out of the history to get the show to disappear from continue watching. My worry about having to do that is will this mean Netflix won't tell me if a new season of a show is released, or is simply a thumbs up enough?

I think agree it a hassle.

 

Ie try episode one, don't like it but trying to get rid of it is too hard.

 

I had to use PC to login to my account and manually delete from history too.

Yep. Pain in the proverbial. I log in on a PC from time to time and clear out the history

Isn't the most recent watched thing first on left and in order of recently watched?

 

i.e if there was 2000 things in there, and you'll just interested in last three watched, will be first three in list.

 

Easy to find, so not sure what hassle is.

1 ep in a series can get flagged 'unwatched' incorrectly. And no way to flag it after the fact than... watch it.

 

I've had it with a heap of mine where it's had a error attempting to resume, or for some reason just refuses to flag the last one watched as actually watched despite being greyed out and progress red

 

Suspect there is a %played vs a time-ep-viewed that triggers it.

They are in mine. On Web page one, and on TV applic, plus there's only 7 programs in there.

 

I'm watching more then seven programs so a time limit or a set maximum in there as well.

 

 

 

For multiple users that's what create profile is for. Can add another user and it will track what they watch separately, and they'll have their own lists separate as well. I have my own profile and one for another person, create profile is still there though so looks like can make more then two.

 

When load up Netflix, just click on name of persons profile who's watching, including a kids one that's in there by default.

The thing I find most annoying about Netflix is the abrupt end to movies and having to fumble with the remote in the dark to redirect to the credits. Apparently, in our world of instant gratification, I'm old fashioned in wanting to sit through the end credits at the end of a movie rather than moving instantly onto the next fix.

Pay to re-read his post - I don't think you are getting it.

 

Continue watching is an auto generated list based on a series, or incomplete episode.

 

(ust like Outlook saves recent email addresses to an N2K and everyone bawks about losing when its not really an address book)

 

You can watch an entire series binge. But if you interrupt (or something in the backend goes awry) it will not flag the entire season as finished and remove from continue watching.

 

Continue watching only exists for series where it THINKS there are episodes left to be auto-flagged as watched on complete.

 

Like the others, I too have had to manually go to the web page. And remove from the viewing activity. To which other than leaving the entire series playing all day again is the only way.

I know it's an auto generated list. I've partially watched season 2 of Shadow Hunters, but somehow disappeared off continue watching even though I haven't finished watching it.

 

There's a couple things on my continue watching list, that I've decided not to watch.

 

They're not stopping me from finding easily what I'm watching as it's 7 items in total.
