just idly curious anyone who can access BBC iPlayer and has a 4K TV have you been able to stream the content in 4K? It might be quite impressive.

They say you need at least a 40 megabits per second but I'm sure many of us have more than that.

Don't know if it would work too well here. They aren't optimised to stream to this part of the world. Would be interesting if someone gave it a try though.

No Chance laughing - also, who was the Muppet who commentated the game for Sky today - worst football commentary ever.  So glad I'm watching on BBC and ITV.

Apple TV 4K and Sony A8F. Unfortuniyly the Apple TV doesnt support the live UHD trial but I've been watching the matchs on demand anyway. The picture quality on the BBC stream is amazing. Watched a couple of games on iTV and it looks terrible in comparison, especialy the lower framerate causing motion blur.

Agree ITV quality is much poorer than BBC.

But what went on with the BBC iPlayer delayed stream of the England / Sweden match - sound was continuous but video kept jumping back about 1-2 seconds then later jumping forward ?

Also seems to take the BBC six plus hours to make the download version available ?

Finally Prime broadcast the two other quarter finals yesterday but not this mornings games - strange,

Glad you had the same problem with the England game.  Was really irritating me and I thought it was just my setup
