It's going up everywhere - I've received notification that my Turkey-based subscription is going to more than double from 649.90 TRY to 1349.90 TRY/year (giving a new annual price of ~NZD70).
I think we've barely used it for months, so might just drop it completely.

ESPN to Kick Off on Disney+ NZ
I'd happily pay an extra $4 a month if it's got stuff I want to watch on ESPN.
No specific timing on when ESPN will be available to NZ subscribers?

Has Sky lost ESPN, thought it was on SkySportNow ? If the same on Disney+ would be great value

Sky will still have it according to the Herald article, so they've just lost exclusivity.

Sorry just checked and it will be on both- from the NZHerald
"A Sky spokeswoman would not comment when asked if the new deal meant Sky would now pay a lower commercial fee for its ESPN licence.
“This doesn’t change the ESPN offer on Sky,” she said in a statement."
From the press release that I linked to earlier on today:
"In addition to the ESPN offering that will be on Disney+, ESPN is available via Foxtel, Kayo Sport, Fetch TV, and Sky NZ."
I gave up on Disney 2 years ago. I'd watched everything that interested me and new content just wasn't coming out. Last year they offered me 3 months for $14.99 ($5/mth) which i took up. Didn't watch it once as there still wasn't anything new. Canceled at the end of the 3 month promo.

what actually is on ESPN now? I figured MBL maybe some NBA. Was curious how the licensing to sky would work or if it lost it.

To answer your question re licensing - Sky still have it - it's now got joint custody with D+, as opposed to sole parenting rights over the asset.
