Qobuz has great HD sound but doesn't work with Amazon Echo (if that's your thing). If you have a phone and headphones that support HD / LDAC then you get great sound.

Amazon Music is great, works on smartphones and computers, integrates well with Amazon Echo devices and has a higher sound quality than Spotify.

Then there's Spotify, which works with Amazon Echo devices but has a lower sound resolution.

Just to clarify - Spotify doesn't currently use a lossless codec like FLAC
It does however use 320kb AAC which is still a very good quality codec and 90% of people are not going to recognise any quality issues.
You can choose to use lower quality codecs in order to save on data (if on a mobile connection for example)

People say that its a 320k service, yet when I play it in the car over bluetooth SBC, its aweful. To the point that I cant stand it. Yet all my own files at 320 or 256 are fine.

Its also very lacking in detail when I use it at home compared to even 192k MP3's that I have had for decades.

If its picking a lower quality file despite it being set to the best on the phone, then that is a software problem that disqualifies it from being a viable option.

The one thing that spotify has that noone else has (because yay software patents) is spotify connect which makes it the most convenient to use when arriving home and being able to ask an echo "alexa play spotify" and it starts from exactly where you were up to on whatever playlist in the car before turning it off.
