Well I run a 50 inch LG Plasma with no built in internet capabilities so don't care for app support. I'd just like to see more TV content from QF and Zero rated traffic from WXC but so far getting a response on the Zero rating is probably going to be like the new plans "We're working on them" or "Coming soon" lol.

Used their "Contact Us" form to ask about Windows MediaCenter (since no response through Twitter).  Will post the response here.  If I get one.

Signed up yesterday. Playback via the quickfix app on our blueray player to a 60" lg is good.  Now all we need is more content +. Snap.net to un-meter quickfix and some live sport.

Just signed up to Quickflix, it's pretty great, even though there is a pretty small number of titles I actually want to watch, I hope they can add content quickly.  I also love how every subscription allows 5 devices and 3 simultaneous streams, you would think that would be part of a family plan, but as default that it is awesome.  HD will be great too.

Just as a matter of interest. How does the viewing of Quickflix quality compare to iSky which is OK unless it's close up sport. ??

on a computer or PS3 currently its near DVD quality (480p, nz dvds are 576p, american dvds are 480p).  the quality i think is fine, would be nice if there were options for 720p on computer/ps3 but most of the stuff i watch the quality is perfectly acceptable.

sometimes when im watching netflix and i have HD disabled i have to check HD is disabled because the quality looks HD :) (disable HD if im running low on bandwidth for the month)

Its been a while since i looked at a NZ DVD, but the last time about 18 months ago they were defiantly vertically filtered still, so not delivering the full 576 lines that they _could_ if they were not vertically filtered.

Blame the luddites with CRTs for that, as if they dont apply it they then complain that the picture is all flickery

Here's their reply:
In regards to your recent enquiry unfortunately Quickflix are not looking to venture into this product at any time soon.
However please keep posted for more updates through out the month to see what products we will be venturing onto.
Thank you,

Anyone having any issues with Quickflix tonight? Some pages are leading to long error messages, including the feedback form when submitted :S Can someone try and load Hotel Babylon and tell me if it works?

Yip, same here.

Looks like a few ASP.NET issues.

well I finally took the plunge and signed up.  Would have preferred to have Caspa on my Tivo but just nothing decent there.  Looking at quickflix, saw quite a few I wanted.  Was hesitant after someone here posted shots of scorpion king very blocky.  On my laptop the picture is dvd quality so cant complain. Very smooth.
Now hopefully that I have tried it on laptop, I will also be able to use my htpc tonight to watch.  I know it doesnt use media center

I cancelled my subscription night night before my free trial ended as I use Netflix (cheaper even when factoring in the VPN cost).   The nice guy offered to keep me on at a 50% discounted rate.  But yeah nah.

I think I'll keep going for another month or 2, they seem to be adding content fairly regularly. Nowhere near as big as he Oz version tho.
