No, don't use TASKER but I have just started using IFTTT

I didn't put it on the list because I'm still sussing it out - it's looking promising tho.

would use tasker if it were free perhaps...

So far IFTTT is not that great for me :  What I want it to do:

When I leave home, then turn off WiFi.
When there is a open WiFi, then open chrome
When I get to the office turn down the media volume.
When it is night time, then turn down the brightness

It wont do any of that, only seems to interact between various web pages...  OK, so I just misunderstand what it is for.  So how about:

When I post a photo to Facebook, then post it to instagram too...

Nope.  It doesn't do that either...
Seems that because it was ported from ios, it doesn't really do much that android users want.
I'm leaving it installed at the moment waiting for a few weeks when this functionality will work...

If you haven't done so already, make sure you subscribe to the "NFL Around the League" podcast.

It's very articulate and witty and is extremely current. They release 3 podcasts per week and at the moment they're concentrating on the draft.

Profile scheduler will do some of the things you want to do. I mostly use it triggered by time/diary appts etc to change volume.  But it is possible to trigger it by location.
