Hi, I am looking at creating some forms for my company and getting them out onto our devices (mixture of android and ios)
Have been trying http://www.devicemagic.com/ for the last few months and it seems ok. Price is a bit steep though. ($10 per device per month)

I am wondering if anyone has an recommendations on tools or companies that can assist with creating multiple forms. Ideally someone in New Zealand.

Things like
- daybooks, timesheets, leave requests, audits, sick leave forms, inspection sheets, questionnaires etc.

I see that Spark and Vodafone have this sorts of products and there a heaps of others on the web but any recommendation would be great.

Its this way or get a company in to create specific apps for each form we need.
Will be quite large when all done (500+ devices and about 50 different types of forms in the end)

Cheers

If you make cross platform apps or web services it shouldn't matter how many devices you have (within reason )
What sort of functionality do you want ?
Will the users always be in a coverage area?
Are you just recording data or requiring other back end functionality

I'm doing something similar at work. I see in the one you mentioned looks like a mobile app with offline delayed sync capability... interesting. Good if you need offline capability - but is that a requirement? Because it seriously limits your options.

Depends on how "cloud averse" your work is too, is management happy to trust a 3rd party with company data? Or do you want an internal option, are you happy to self-manage? Or do you want some kind of combination?

I can just imagine Vodafone and/or Spark outsourcing this to multiple vendors and charging $$$ when you could get the same done for $ with a bit more research. I like to buy direct rather than a middleman, for more accountability. I was looking at Orbeon forms (community) as an open-source internal web based application that can create forms - looks promising. Also looked at a few cloud options and Typeform stuck out to me.

At the moment I'm testing the idea with a quick "new employee" single page web form at work which I cobbled together using PHP which just submits to itself and integrates with our Project Management platform to create a new task with all the details for the right people (IT, finance etc).
