Anyone switched to BigPipe from SNAP?

I'm on Snap VDSL unlimited, I'm happy with speed and performance but it appears Bigpipe is $20 a month cheaper (109 vs 89) which is quite a lot of beer over a year

Any pros & cons?

unless you intend to purchase a public ip, lack of a public ip?

both snap and bigpipe mainly use Global gateway, so peering should be about the same.

The snap price is more expensive to cover the subsidied modem and master filter you received. Bigpipe doesn't give you either of those, hence price is cheaper.
But since you already have both a vdsl modem and a master splitter (I assume) then it's pretty sensible to switch to save the money (assuming you aren't on contract)

I didn't receive a subsidised FritzBox nor did I need a master filter (getting 60/9 Already)

Was there a plan for Bigpipe to offer (sell?) static IPs? If so is it one off setup or ongoing $?

Are the non static IPs, real ones or CGNAT?
If CGNAT, can this be opted out of?

45$ addon one off, static ip.

otherwise your on CG-Nat.

Bigpipe stopped doing their free public ip for those who needed it as an alternative to cgnat (apart from those who already had it ofcourse)
