Of course, I have changed ISP / port and the issue has gone away, so naturally without further investigation a specific cause can't be named.

chrispchikin: New ISP, new port presumably (1-1.5Mbps better sync, was processed as a disconnection / new connection by Chorus). Same router, same config.

No issues, happy me, happy family.


While you may possibly have a new port (there is no guarantee of this, even if you lodged a disconnection and a new connection) you're still going to have the same MPF pair from the exchange or cabinet to your house so a difference in sync is highly surprising.

I suspect OP has switched to an unbundled gear at the exchange, no longer on Chorus ISAM.
