I'm hoping someone could have a quick look at these graphs and tell me if installing a master filter would fix my VDSL connection?

I just got Bigpipe VDSL at my new house and it looks like the top end of the spectrum is missing completely.

Looks like you need to get a "master filter" installed or are too far from the serving cabinet/exchange - see here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/sbiddle/8357

$199 from Chorus (open a support ticket with BigPipe) or if you're in Auckland then $150 from @coffeebaron. Just do it.

well it does help to know how the current house is wired? are the multiple jackpoints that work, do you use a landline?

that would give a better picture of weather a master filter would work or not

The house was built around year 2000 and there are only 2 jack points that I can find. I don't have a phone line but there's an alarm which may have been monitored at some stage.

I've already asked Bigpipe how far away I am from the cabinet/exchange.

Even if the alarm is no longer being monitored, it can still effect your VDSL connection.

Get a master filter installed, which will completely separate your phone/alarm system from your VDSL connection.
