I put through a request to have my account email changed from my [old@email.com] to my new [my+new@email.nz].

 

Received the confirmation email and subsequent emails fine however now I can't login to my web account or mobile app.

 

It appears the "+" may be causing the customer-self-management API to throw exceptions.

 

 

 

@BigPipe can you confirm?

That is funny. I had to get them to put a . into my gmail address when I had 2 connections with them as their system is built around one connection per email address.

Slightly OT but it's pretty common on many sites to have a regex prohibiting a + sign in email addresses signup forms. This is very common on sites that have a free trial as it's designed to stop people simply using an alias on their gmail for multiple accounts.

Had the same issue happen to be recently, reported it to BigPipe and they fixed it up but it took a couple of days.

Having the + in your email address shouldn't affect this, our testers actually use this for some manual testing.

I've got a ticket open; Filip was following up. He seemed to think it was due to email not being updated across all systems however my previous email doesn't work either..
