Gidday GZ

We need someone in Nelson, Blenheim, Ashburton, Christchurch, Greymouth or Timaru with a Chorus ONT installed at their address to help us test something. In exchange for your help you'll get some freebies. :D

You'll need a spare router with an Ethernet WAN port that supports PPPoE (such as the Bigpipe modem / Huawei HG659), and to be available to answer queries over email, and potentially via phone.

First come first served - flick me a PM if you fit the criteria and we'll see how we go. I'll update the thread as soon as we've got a suitable candidate.

Hmm - a South Island PoP??

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.
Rural Broadband RBI installer for Ultimate Broadband and Full Flavour

There's more than one fibre company in Christchurch. ;)

Just to clarify, we don't mean Enable ONTs. If you've got a Chorus ONT in CHCH or any of the regions listed, drop us a line.
