I have a Fitbit Charge HR and have somehow lost charging cable. It appears to be a proprietary cable on the fitbit end and I cannot source a replacement anywhere in NZ. Been to all the shops that sell the fitbits but they don't bother stocking replacements.
Drives me crazy that firms will happily sell you items but not spares.  Went to every shop that sells the devices around here and not one had spares like the cable. Fitbit NZ have a so called nz store webpage but once you try to buy something it switches to UK and the prices for a small cable are ridiculous.
Tried the usual sources overseas and they will not send to NZ mostly because we are in a separate distribution zone.
Anyone any idea where one can source a new cable quickly I am running out of charge and it will stop soon. <g>

Take it back to where you brought it from and try to return it due to them not meeting their obligations under the consumer goods act of stocking spare parts. Perhaps then you may have more luck?
Probably not though.

Have you contacted fitbit directly and explained the situation with the local retailers?  At the very least it would be good for them to know that local retailers are letting their brand down. At best they might send you one free?

Fitbit are actually fairly good at customer interaction.

I'd give them a call or email and see what they do for you.

Buy it from here? https://www.fitbit.com/nz/store#accessories

My replacement Flex wristband came the next day from some Auckland distributor.

If only it was that simple. I tried that and as soon as you add it to the cart it switched to UK store and the price jumps up to pounds 17 which converts to $40 plus freight it starts to get ridiculous. The same cable is on Amazon for$7.00 but alas they will not sell to NZ.
It appears that fitbit themselves do not want to stock the accessories in NZ.

Call whom. There is no indication on site who the distributor is. See below for what happens when I try to purchase a cable

Perhaps you are using a proxy and the store thinks you are elsewhere?

I tried to add it from an address that appears to be in Australia and it changed to the Australian store. On the main page down the bottom there is a location shown with the option to change. After changing to New Zealand, it stayed in the NZ store and I could have brought it for $29.95 with free shipping.

You are correct thank you very much. Followed your instructions and it allowed me to place order in NZ. Phew Hopefully it will arrive before fitbit goes flat. now to figure out why it kept changing to UK. Must be something Chrome settings?
Thanks to everyone that replied please note the answer

As I said earlier tried that but once I put it in my cart it refused to process order with a statement that shipping the items to NZ was not allowed.
