Quick picture update.

How my hands were yesterday morning and today.

Again, left hand first, then the right. I took two of todays right hand as I wasn't sure what picture to use.

It looks worse in the pictures I feel than what it is in real life, however maybe thats just because I am used to it in real life.

If the Savlon makes it heal all of a sudden then you have a serious problem with your immune system, which I doubt.
6 mnths is a long time for something bacterial not to heal.

Finch: Thanks for the replies folks.

Cant seem to find anything online because i'm not entirely sure how to word the search. I have tried multiple different search terms, but cant seem to find anything.

Its not a massive problem. It doesn't hurt or anything, its just not pretty to look at that's all.

What makes you think it's only in your hands? You're seeing symptoms on your hands.....but it could be right through you, whatever it is.

Do you drink alcohol much? Drink less. Too much booze can cause skin troubles. "Too much" might be as little as 3 beers / week.

Do you eat fruit? A vitamin C deficiency can cause skin splitting.

Do you eat chicken / bananas / legumes / other sources of B vitamins? Deficiency can lead to split skin.

Split skin can lead to fungal infections.

See a doctor. Diet won't cure a fungal infection...and they can be serious if the fungus gets into the wrong parts of the body.

I'm on a high fibre diet.
