I don't shop for running shoes they are too hard to keep up with.

I really like my K24's. Asics are one of the very few companies who make 4E and 2E shoes.

Thanks for the links.

Lots of companies make 4E shoes, it's just that they're almost impossible to get in NZ in stores.

New Balance have a lot of 4E shoes and their online selection in NZ is pretty good. They also regularly offer online sales with very good deals.

I buy 99% of my shoes in the US and getting 4E over there is really easy with a lot of Adidas and Nike casual shoes coming in 4E widths.

Yeah, I also buy my shoes in the US, but I haven't been for a while. Sometimes I ship them from Amazon. Last lot I got in Singapore. Colours vary by region, and I am relatively particular as I don't like anything garish that stands out. Prefer conservative.

Interesting you mention how many brands do 4E, I certainly haven't seen wide in some of the bigger retailers over there, and not recently.

I am keen to try the Adrenaline, I nearly bought those when I was in the UK last year.

Well crap they only come in Blue and Black!

They are for trail running.  White wouldn't be very practical.

I don't run in my Kayano's I use them as super comfortable and supportive walking shoes.

In a lesser pair of shoes I am in serious pain if I am on my feet for 3+ hours.

Have you tried DMs?  I have lots of problems with my feet but never when I'm wearing my Dr Martens.

Not since I was in High School quite a number of years ago now, but I have tried many shoes over the years and the primary issue is having enough padding on the bottom of the shoe.

I'm the same.  Hard  shoes make my feet hurt.

Proper Dr Martens have the air-sole, which is very comfy compared to a lot of other leather shoes.

I also find Skechers good in a casual shoe and Clarks for formal.

Interesting you say that. How do you find Hush Puppies? These are highly rated by some, but I find them poor.

I will go and check out DM's but they are a little formal for my intended use :)

Clarks I bought a pair I really highly rated, but lately my work shoes have come from Singapore, they are a $60 pair, last a year and I can spend all day in them and not suffer too much. They are crazy comfortable, though I do spend a fair bit of time sitting now when I did not before.

I don't find hush puppies all that comfortable.  I find they don't last long.

I picked up bunch of Clark's shoes in the US a couple years ago outlet shopping and I'm slowly working my way through them.

Picked myself up a pair of Salomon XA Elevate trail runners for $110NZ free delivery from Wiggle NZ. Great site to get cheap shoes/fitness gears. RRP in NZ for those shoes $299ish in places like Torpedo 7. This adds to my ever growing collection of shoes - Brooks Adrenaline 18's for road, Brooks Mazama 2 for light trails/speed and Salomons for longer trails and more technical terrain.

My SO has a pair of Dr Mariens.
They actually look identical to Dr Martens, the "i" is stylised to look like a "t", whoever made them clearly read the webpage instructions on "how to identify genuine Dr Martens" and took it all to heart.  The sole looks real, the stitching looks right, they did a damned good job, the 100% plastic uppers even look like a bit like leather.

These arrived unexpected.  She ordered some Italian designer dress boots for work on the interweb at a price too good to be true, the website checked out as being rather untrustworthy, I thought she'd get nothing at all, but a courier package arrived after a couple of months with the pair of genuine air sole Dr Mariens inside.  They fit her too.
