Batman: Faecal plume theory being studied at the Pullman

Good lord that is enough to put me off hotels for life. I will holiday in our caravan and avoid all this crap.

I wrote this in reference to a certain individual several months ago in the president thread. Maybe it also has relevance here:

When I lie awake at night I’m paralysed with fear
Thinking of the deadly virus ever creeping near
Despair it whispers in my ear a dark cloud in my room
Drifting in the dark it wafts - the dreaded faecal plume

It spreads infection through a mist of words that float in wait
Searching for a weakness they can pierce and penetrate
There they grow and multiply and spread a deadly gloom
Nothing matters any more so says the faecal plume

There is no choice no point at all both sides are just as bad
Now or in four years again the people will be had
All of it is evil and we’re headed to our doom
Just lie down and die right now so says the faecal plume

Hopeless words it breathes to me while writhing through my brain
Smothering what I believe and saying it’s in vain
I cry into my pillow as the growing crises loom
And pray for succour from that virus and its faecal plume

There will come a time I hope if all my hope’s not dead
When everything the faecal plume will say has all been said
Hope again will germinate and then will start to bloom
And nothing more will emanate out of that faecal plume.

It was disappointing to hear on Monday that something over 50 Papatoetoe High School students had not been tested, though they were not allowed to return.
Now we have another case at the school and we are doing second tests, though it does seem a number have no intention to get tested ever ?

Its going to be hard to put a contact trace and testing fence around this with a hole in this fence around the back.

While Auckland is in level 1, and scanning pretty patchy rest of New Zealand is also carrying a risk.

Hopefully the dice fall in our favor and this small percentage of refuseniks does not throw a spanner in the works.

Two more cases, but They were at work on February 19 and 20 between 4pm-10pm. So much for being a close contact and self isolating.

At some point officials have to stop saying "They've done everything right" and tell people (even if it's in private) what is really at stake here.

Another example:

Taxpayers will foot the bill for the extra weeks an Australian woman who refused to be tested for Covid-19 stayed in a Wellington managed isolation facility.

I've read that almost everything in anyone's home is covered in fecal material. It's unavoidable.

Here's a scary thought in Wikipedia:

"A teaspoon of seawater typically contains about fifty million marine viruses. "

"Viruses are the most abundant biological entity in marine environments. On average there are about ten million of them in one milliliter of seawater."

Luckily only some of these viruses are human pathogens

New sites added Casual Plus.
Kmart Kmart Botany 19th and 20th Feb , 3.30pm to 10.30pm
Dark Vapes East Tamaki 19th Feb 2.30pm to 4pm , 20th Feb 7.00pm to 8.30pm
Overlapping times a bit odd.
https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-health-advice-public/contact-tracing-covid-19/covid-19-contact-tracing-locations-interest#auckfeb

Oh well, not like Kart is a high traffic site, hopefully we get lucky again.
Hopefully we are all in Auckland being cautious, and keeping safe, sanitize, scan and Bluetooth.

They should deny her entry and send her back. The Australians wouldn’t think twice about that.
