JPNZ:

wow...

Just listening to ZB and they had a caller who is the employer of the auckland nurses fiancee. He came into work as sick as a dog on monday and tuesday (his words) and had close contact with around 20 staff and customers. He's not heard from MOH and has been imploring those people to get tested.

when you said employer of the auckland nurses fiancee you lost me.

i'm trying to get what you said - the nurse who has covid who was fully vaccinated was sick as a dog or is this someone else.

He employs the auckland nurses partner. Is that easier..

No he work's in another business. Still disappointing the MOH have not contacted the business the Fiancee works at considering they knew this morning the Nurse was positive.

It's irrelevant to the populous. The recriminations that follow achieves no positives and can make people reluctant to come forward. Gossip fest's need to stop.

I've just called my local medical centre and booked a test for minutes from now. Was in Auckland last week for a day. Had a runny nose and wife a sore throat. Being tested in ten minutes.

This person "imploring" sounds like a bit of a stretch.

My son had a test yesterday, returned negative this morning. Turn around on results much improved over recent times.

My wife reported half the people on the skiifields in the past few days had varying degrees of illness.

Why is that what someone said that someone else said what some others did or didn't do - featuring on the train-wreck of gossip radio ZB even being discussed?

I believe its factual, not gossip, unless the employer lied. Same can be said for criticising Air NZ, except they are flying for valid reasons in a lockdown

The same then applies to the people heading out of Auckland, sparking anger, as just reported. Thats also gossip/fact too. Either we ban/avoid all negatives, or we show our disdain when others are failing the lockdown, which affects all of us, most of which do the right thing.
